I attended the MVQG Quilt Show on
May 30, 2026
Oh my, what a funtastic show!
Something a little wonky!
Perhaps inspired from my
Let's Get Wonky Trunk show?
I thought this was a Modern-Traditionalist looking design.
A combo of a wedding ring
surrounded by a unique border.
Loved the simplicity of this one
and the primary colors
This was a favorite of mine. I loved the colors which leaned modern
with lots of blocks from a designer series.
This New York Beauty design. Was indeed a beauty!
A wonderful sampler quilt that uses fabric selvedges!
This Red White and Blue Star Quilt was unique.
All the stars were outlined with French knots!
This bee quilt was lovely.
Made by a grandmother for her grandaughter
a Junior Bee-keeper!
Ahhh this baby elephant stole my heart!
I enjoyed the simplicity here with the colors setting up the design.
NOT every quilt has to be ROCKET SCIENCE!
Some fabulous ART QUILTS!
The tractor took me back to the farm as a child.
Stunning landscape design in this one!
And this flower...was as beautiful as the quilting on it!
I love a good use of a log cabin scrappy block!
The twists on this one leaned to a modern vibe!
A black background really sets off the vibrant colors of this quilt.
I love that the maker took a chance on this combo of colors.
STUNNING!
Another log cabin block leaning to a modern feel
in both color choices and block layout.
This was a great way of using colors on a low volume background.
Modern-Traditionalist feel
Many vendors added to the fun and
subtracted money from my wallet!
I love a well-planned and put together show.
