CHRISTMAS CARDS IN JULY

It’s never too early for making
Christmas CARDS!
And who doesn’t enjoy Christmas in July inspiration!

I recently bought a new to me set of stamps
‘Eden’s Garden’
Nit really Christmas these
But just using reds and greens…
Voila!

This technique is so easy and fun!
It’s like making your own designer paper!
Frost your stamp from largest stamp to the smallest
In colors of your choice

Large Flower-real res
Leaf 1 - Garden Green
Leaf 2 - Old Moss Freen
Twiggy Leaf - Burgandy
Tiny leaf or dots - Gold or Burgundy

And you stamp with a  + or X going in abstract angles
(Like below)
8 1/2 x 11 card stick sheet

Then cut into (4)4 1/4” x 5 1/2” sections6

Pull sime cRd stock like red…for a bold POP of color.

Stapled sections can go into cards
Vertical or horizontal

Add sentiments
Outside and inside!

Don’t foget to stamp the envelopes

A fast and easy 4 cards at a time!
You can make them all ine occasion
Or mix up the sentiments!

JUST A CARD..or few

I like to recycle the front of a pretty card
that I may receive from someone,
to make a new card.

Like this beautiful tree and bird.

I can always use a Thank You card.

I made this pretty sympathy card with scraps and a tiny dragonfly!

I had lots of back and white scraps
when a bit of mustard and a swarm of bees happened.

I like to stamp my own designer paper.
These sunflowers were too fun!

How about some dragonflies to brighten your day?

Hey, I found some bee papers.

I also picked some flowers for these pretty vases,

Making cards is my second love.
Quilting is my first.

GAL-ENTINE DAY of CARDS

I like to make cards.
I like my peeps who enjoy making cards.
I like lunch with those friends...
so I had a Gal-tine gathering to cover all those things.

I set a pretty table and the centerpiece
was their card kits and take home items.

The basket (with card kits)
A OUI yogurt cup with some cardmaining supplies,
I made Chai tea mix and the cute Valentine fabric coasters.

Cherie, Vikki and me.

Francine and me

Shannon

As soon as lunch was finished we
made some great cards!
Everyone had a kit for each card.
They could pick their own sentiment
and bling.

A fun  beachy design.

A pocket card.
Slide a card into the front pocket
and then it flipped open for another sentiment.

A sunflower stamped to make their
own designer paper.

Some bees swarmed us!

The dragonflies popped right thru the card

Cherie was so proud of her work.
Everyone did an excellent job!
The flower cart was a kit provided by Francine!

Cherie brought this hypertufa BUCKEYE LEAF
candle holder for my patio.
She has her own kinda talents and made this for me.

We had such a GREAT time, we will do it again this summer.
I just love that my friends that spend creative time with me!
