BLOGGERS KWILT FESTIVAL - SEE SANTA TWICE!

What could be more fun than kwilts for "twins" in
The Bloggers Quilt Festival?

Yes, they are simple but sometimes
that is all that is needed to make a beautiful, fun kwilt!

Modern fabric color choices  of Red, Turquoise, Gray and White
were all pulled from my stash.
Check out Santa's clothes hanging on the line.

The pattern is "Floating 8s" from
the Precut Quilts by Jane Vogle
I laid out the blocks a bit different on each kwilt.
Finished size is 36: x 52"

I kwilted these "at the same time" on a long arm machine.
making sure the backing was big enough for both kwilts.

The soft flannel backing in gray just begs to be touched!

The binding was different on each kwilt
Turquoise on one, Gray on the other.
Can't you just picture twins playing on these fun kwilts!
Here is a close up of the custom kwilting combining
some modern lines with traditional meandering.
A stack of December birthday or Christmas morning fun!
