FLOWER SPEAK and a GIVEAWAY!

Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio.

  19. Love the bag with the added 3-D flower on it. The gardens are beautiful too.
    The closet garden is a half mile from my house. It's a xeriscape garden using only plants and trees that use little water. Some are flowering trees and shrubs and some flowers there too like false sunflowers.

  29. I don't have a garden but I do have a Succulent Garden on my windowsill which I foolishly adore. Reminds me of the original "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" film because it has plastic dinosaurs in it!

  39. I love the twist of that flower on that bag. In my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI, we have the Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park -- http://www.meijergardens.org/

    Another garden, we have enjoyed visiting is Hidden Lake Gardens which is about 2 hours SE of Grand Rapids, in Tipton, MI. It is run by Michigan State University -- http://hiddenlakegardens.msu.edu/

    We hae alos enjoyed visting the WJ Beal Botanical Gardens at MSU in East Lansing, MI, which is about 1.5 hours from here -- www.cpa.msu.edu/beal/

  41. Morton Arboretum, has the bug display going on right now here is Lisle, Illinois. It is wonderful. There are gardens at Cantigny in Wheaton, and It is beautiful.

  45. Sorry---I messed up with my first attempt. They are working on making a botanical garden on the museum grounds in my area of Calhoun County, Alabama. A garden that I have actually visited in the past and impressed me the most if Belingrath Gardens down near Mobile. This was before we even moved to the state.

    I love that purse! Great fabrics and what a cool dimensional flower you put on it. THX for including the link!

  52. Love your great bag. The closest flower garden, other than all my lovely neighbor gardens in town is 45 miles away in Wichita Kansas, The Botanical Garden.

    I love your bag and plan on checking out that pattern. I can see why you volunteer at that garden, it is beautiful. Great picture of you sportin your volunteer shirt! I like to go to our local city park, it is very pretty, mostly flowering trees and azaleas.

  57. Lovely bag! My favorite garden in my own little yard, though it is a small and occasionally weedy scrap patch. I do like to visit and wander the trails in the New England Wildflower Society's "Garden in the Woods."   58. Kathy your gardens are amazeing. i am so jealous you hav ea climbing hydrangea. I have allways wanted one of those. I do have a small purple hydrangea I planted last summer. When we moved here 2 years ago their was nothing but shrubbery by the house and a overgown tangle of forest. No flowers at all. I so miss all my beautiful flowers I had at my other home. Your bag is beautiful.. Great fabric you chose for it. What a fun hop this has been.

    The gardens are wonderful, I love flowers, here in Maine my lilacs are finally blooming and that lovely smell is in the air! Love it.

    Other than my garden, not sure of pretty public gardens where we now live. In the Chicago area is Morton's Arboretuem which is quite lovely and in Sydney there is a beautiful botanical garden.

  75. I live near San Francisco, and in the Golden Gate park they have a beautiful rose garden. Of course it is seasonal, but when it's in bloom, it is gorgeous! Your bag is just delightful. I love the flower you made for it!
