I'm giving it another try this QTR over with Katy at
The Littlest Thistle blog.
You can see what I finished for the 1 QTR here
Here I begin...with long arm kwilting....
A couple crib size quilts for "twins"
Jelly roll quilt using Twenty Three fabric from Moda
A Turning 20 Pattern using Bernatex FQs
Another jelly roll design using Moda "Quilt Blocks"
All bundled up and ready to head out and kwilt them on my friends Gammill.
I'm kinda nervous cause a couple I want to try a more modern kwilting design and I'm no pro using the longarm.
Will see what happens!!!
More goals for 2nd QTR will be on a much smaller scale
cause I have gardens calling for my attention!
Will see if I can juggle it all.
And of course, using up more scraps in even smaller projects.
All the projects on this post are pulled directly from my huge stash...
helping me meet my personal goal of
using up my stash!
Click here to see who is participating and what they plan to make for the 2QTR
A couple of these finished kwilts will serve me well as Holiday gifts because
Handmade Christmas being sponsored
by Insights from Sew Cal Gal.

but before you go....
Tell me what are you making now and are you using your stash?

Yay for using up stash! I'm trying to do that too! Looks like a fun quarter ahead of you!
ReplyDeleteI love the first of your jelly roll quilts--all the different squares look great together. I am signing up for Finish Along too, though I have only 5 goals (and that may be too many!). I definitely try to use up stash/scraps as much as possible because I feel so thrifty and environmental when I use up what I already have instead of buying new.
ReplyDeletewhat a stash you must have so many lovely fabrics. The first jelly roll quilt really caught my eye lovely
ReplyDeleteThese are some lovely quilts!
