I believe that no swapper should be left behind.
After all they made their swap project andsent it off!
empty hands, empty heart!
This happened to my IG friend, Stephanie
and in a matter of a few hours
I whipped up this fun project bag for her.
I stalked her on IG to find out about her interests.
She loves purple.
I dug deep in my stash and found some
City Scenes fabric baby Jane Dixon.
Perfect!!!
Stephanie is a knitter and this bag
is a perfect size for a knitting project!
The skyscrapers and buildings on the gray fabric
is the city scene.
The pocket fabric has people
with umbrellas walking the city streets
Inside has plenty of room...
I threw in a couple FQs and some Aurifil thread...
Purple is her fav color
Next day it was in the mail and Stephanie loved it!
I was not a official "Swap Angel"
(someone who signs up at the beginning of a swap
and volunteers to make an extra project if needed)
I used this pattern by Very Shannon!
BTW Sew Mama Sew Day is just around the corner
May 6th
Stop back by and see what I will be giving away!
Tell you friends to jump on board cause lots of wonderful
items by lots of great bloggers are up for grabs!
You may not be "official", but you were certainly an angel! So sweet of you to take up the slack and make it right. What a great bag and goodies!
ReplyDeletewhat a great replacement for the swap that never was, I am sure she will be delighted with this bag
ReplyDeleteThat is just wonderful and it just bothers me that there is a need for "swap angels" at all.
ReplyDeleteAwe that was very sweet of you! The bag looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou're the best!
