Hi Kathy - one thing people would be surprised to know about me is that I lived north of 60 for many years. I've slept in teepees and eaten caribou stew on the marge of Lake Labarge! ReplyDeleteI think the blogger world might be surprised to know that I worked at a wildlife park for 8 years--I was a volunteer zookeeper for most of that, animals included black bear, mountain lion, elk, deer, raccoon, fox, coyote, mexican grey wolves, javelinas (my favorite!), bobcats...I had a bitter departure/disagreement with the director, and don't really talk about it much. It was another life!

Something about me, I grew up on 40 acres in Alaska, a farm where I milked cows, collected eggs, slopped the pigs and all that goes with growing up on a farm. I also belonged to a small group that twirlled the baton and even marched in a few small town parades. Thanks for this walk down memory lane, hehe.
