30/30 SEWING CHALLENGE

Sara at Berry Barn Designs is hosting

Seams simple enuf...
Sew 30 minutes for 30 days
for ourselves!
and perhaps win a prize!

I have been out of the sewing room for a month,
traveling around on vacation,
sew I am chomping at the bit to get going!

I have the Twenty3 jelly roll cut for the blocks...
let the sewing begin

Need to sew these blocks and complete the top.

Blocks are made...need to design and sew the top

I have lots of sewing projects
NOT FOR ME
that I need to work on as well.

Will be linking up today with the other participants.
To see what they are planning to sew...

Before you go...tell me
what was the last thing you made for YOU?

  4. I made myself a table runner in the fall. Actually, it didn't start out to be for me but when it was done I didn't think it was the right size for my intended recipient's table -- but it was the perfect size for MY new table. So I made another version (similar blocks and colors, different size) to use as the gift and kept the first one for myself. I'm enjoying it every day!

  6. Hmm... the last thing I made for me was a Miette wrap skirt last summer - it was fun, but it was also nine months ago! I need to carve out a little more time. I have a pile of not-for-me that will be calling my name this month also, though... balance! Thank you so much for joining me, Kathy : ) I am especially excited to see your progress on the Play a Card pattern - I love that fabric you chose!

  7. That's a good question...I made a SpiderWeb quilt that is a flimsy. It's next up for sandwiching and quilting.

  14. It sounds like a great idea but unfortunately there is no way I'd be able to do that. I'm lucky if I get to sew once a week.
