Antiquing, again!

My fabulous find...a Cathedral Window Bed Runner!

Hand pieced and hand quilted - only $40.00

And the back shows the hand quilting so nicely!

Not sure why the piece was only made to a bed runner size...              but I'm sure happy I found it.  

Beautiful work and my mind will wonder about the Kwilty Pleasures the quilter must have enjoyed.

Tennessee Time

Ahhhh...vacation.  So slow to arrive and in a flash...they are over.  Phil and I have added yet more beautiful memories of our travels while vacationing in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee.  The mountains vistas whispered "slow down" and the lakes all around called out "enjoy the scenery".  What a  great "retirement" community...yet there are activities for all ages. 

One of the local Antique Shops - showcased quilt blocks on the exterior.

The local quilt shop was closed for remodeling, so that was a disappointment.
I did drive to Harriman TN to find a shop called Loose Threads.  Fun Shop. 

Tennessee....I will return as I know 

my Kwilty Pleasures fit right in!
