SEEING DOUBLE!

I am seeing double and no alcohol is involved...

Just lots of fun fabrics!

I'm talking double kwilts for doubling the fun with
TWINS!!!

Giraffes are stretching their necks out
over these yellow, gray and white fabric
perfect for any gender twins!
A great size (36" x 52") for baby to toddler.

Each layout of the blocks and binding colors 
are different so each twin will know
which kwilt is theirs.

 Cute Giraffe Love by Michael Miller fabrics along with some
of my other designer stash kwilted with meandering softness...
Doubles the fun!

Backing is a small black and white heart print.

Just fabulous!

What babies or adults for that matter

PINK POSIES!

I have been a busy girl, bustin my stash!

This baby girl kwilt started with a MODA "Posie" charm pack

by Aneela Hoey and some white fabric

I used the "Molly" pattern from 

3 Times the Charm Book 2

I added an extra row to make it 12  vs 9 blocks.

 and made this sweet kwilt!

Backing is a bit darker pink

also from my stash.

Meander FMQ on my Bernina with 

 straight lines in the white sashing. 

Polka-dot binding matches the border

FOXY BABY!!!

Meeting my 2014 Stash Bustin' goals, 2 QTR finishes!

Pulled these fabrics from my stash
for a FOXY baby kwilt!

Made the top at a kwilt retreat in May

Straight time kwilting took some time and patience 
(which I lack-patience not time)

A FRIDAY (the 13th) FINISH

Today is Friday the 13th.  
I'm not superstitious but while making the kwilt in this post
I did encounter a freaky kwilting experience. 

It began with this QUILT BLOCKS jelly roll 

and some solid gray and white fabrics.

I was using a pattern called "Pick Up Sticks" 

But while laying out the blocks 
they began swirling around in my head
and landed in this design.

Loaded on my friends longarm,  kwilting straight lines but Ms. Gammil had a "thread breaking" spell cast upon her!

 NO CHANTING or SCREAMING helped.

Half way kwilted I had to remove it from the machine.

Mad as a black cat, on Friday 13th, stuck in a tree...

I pinned the nightmare to my carpet for basting.

 Finished kwilting it on my Bernina!

Binding added and ALL DONE! 
Spell broken!

SUNDAY STASH..... A GHASTLIES END?

A rumor is flying around that the Ghastlies new line

"a Ghastlies end" might just be the end of my favorite Halloween family?

 My heart is breaking if this is true!  

Alexander Henry ...say it isn't SEW!  

If you know me at all...you know I am Ghastlies driven! 

 Sew I had to add these to my stash!
