I made it to a Kwilty Girls Retreat!
I have missed sew much the last 6 months due to
My hubby s health. He is getting better
And finally at a place where I felt I child leave him alone.
He did habe a friend take him to lunch and check on him.
And his daughter covered one day for me
Sew nice to have some backup.
Caregiving is a full time job…
I need a raise!
This girl needed GIRL TIME.
It may have begun with my
Wonky FG Patty quilted for me!
Celtic Sea w Mustard thread!
I sewed up this Scot’s Plaid design for my hubby.
He turns 80 in February and
Was a TV repairman for 40 years!
This is his bday gift!
And a great steak dinner!
Then I made the Quilty Love design top
Using AnnaMaria Horner scraps
that Kim Hensey gave me!
Kathy Guenther was thrilled to get her FOREST quilt
Patty had quilted for her.
Love that E2E design!
This one, Play a Card, was also quilted by Patty
Kathy spent most of her time over the weekend
Working in this beautiful Flying Geese Quilt top.
Lucinda Miller is always a busy bee at retreat.
Her rendition of Twusted Geese, Zen Chic is lovely.
She’s becoming a master at LV scrappy backgrounds.
She was knitting! Her first dish cloth!
She made a quilted basket!
Finished a floor rug pattern by Tami Pfeil
Tami Pfeil was sewing uo this design she created
And we can’t wait to see what this Nutcracker
When Tami finishes it !
Kim Hensley was making this Flag Quilt for her
Sin ti be nephew who is getting his US citizenship soon.
And this fabulous baby Quilt made in low volume log cabins
Patty Estadt worked on a charity quikt.
And spent most of her time sewing together tractors!
Of course, hers were much cuter…I can’t find the pic!
Our next retreat is in April and my fingers are crossed
That I can attend that one too!
