ReplyDeleteI've been working on a project for a blog hop with, "Color Essentials - Crisp & Vibrant Quilts: 12 Modern Projects Featuring Precut Solids" by Amanda Murphy. She uses Kona pre-cuts. Love it.

ReplyDeleteCute fabric! My favorite book is Leaders and Enders by Bonnie Hunter. I'm a book collector and hers speak to me because of the modern way she adapts traditional patterns. I've admired her for years and have also enjoyed several of her free patterns.

ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics, thanks for a great giveaway. I think my favourite booy would be The Quilter's Bible: The Indispensable Guide to Patchwork, Quilting and Applique by Linda Clements because it was the very first kwilting book I bought and the one from which I started to teach myself.

now that is hard my favourite quilting book have so many and love most of them, The English quilter Jennie Rayment is one of my favourite authors Tucks textures and pleats I think is top of my list along with having lots of amazing ideas and instructions she also has lots of funny stories

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Quilts from the Quiltmaker's Gift. Love the children's book the Quiltmaker's Gift too. I just love the classic patterns in the book and the directions are clear too.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite quilting book- that is very hard but I do return to a few for inspiration- Collaborative quilting by Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston. It is such a terrific book of color- I also love the Gee Bend quilters and Paula nadelstern kaleidoscope quilts and Ricky Tims works. The list does go on and on. Um...Honestly I do not have any quilting books. I would love to get some, but I normally would rather purchase fabric. We have an extremely low budget for crafty stuff. That 90 minute quilts book looks like one I would buy if I had extra money.

It is my favorite because I gave it to my Mom and when she was going through chemo I moved back home for two months and we made the heart quilt, we finished the heart but she passed before the second one was finished.. many wonderful memories because of this book
ReplyDeleteMy favorite quilt book is Collaborative Quilts. I love the sections on color, and I love the idea of first constructing "building blocks" and then using them to lay out and make an original quilt.
